Ultimaker Upgrade (Part 2: The Build)
With the hardware assembled it was time for some electronics.
For the most part this was just a case of plugging the correct component into the appropriate port however this did require disassembling the entire printhead and digging through the nest of wires that surround the printboard.
The hotend was then reassembled and mounted back in the printer
And since I was now going to be running my printer a little harder I added a fan to cool the control board.
Time for some test prints
