Micro Quad Update

I decided to try and lightweight my quad. After I built the PCTPE frame the quad was almost indestructible but it was also fairly heavy. So I started from scratch again and made a thinner lighter frame.

This was designed to be made from a semi-flex material. As strength was no longer a concern the design focused around improving stiffness while saving weight.
The arms have a U cross section with relatively thin walls while the central region is left intentionally thin as the upper frame provides a lot of added rigidity.
For material I decided to print with PP (polypropylene), a material I haven’t used before. 260 degree nozzle with an 80 degree bed and retraction disabled came out a treat. For bed adhesion I used some wide parcel tape with no issues.
